Topic: Road widening on Yonge Street south of John Street

Timing: Weekdays, 7:00AM to 5:00PM; occasional weekend or overnight work as required
What is happening?
Crews working on behalf of Metrolinx will continue with preliminary work, widening the roadway south of John Street in preparation of the vertical shaft that will support excavation for the future Emergency Exit Building 4. Road widening will involve extending the existing pavement on the east side of Yonge Street into the right-of-way to create a safe work zone for upcoming construction.
