Topic: Utility work at Yonge St. and Steeles Ave. (Steeles station)

Timing: 8:00AM to 5:00PM and 9:00PM to 6:00AM
What is happening?
To support the Yonge North Subway Extension Project (YNSE), Beanfield will complete the relocation of the existing fibre optic cable on the south side of Steeles Ave, crossing over Yonge St. This work is necessary as the existing cable conflicts with the future Steeles Station North Headwall. The work will be done on the boulevard on Steeles Ave. from Tangreen Crt. to Bayview Ave., with eastbound lane closures on Steeles Ave. during this period. The relocation of the Beanfield cable is being integrated into a larger Beanfield capital project that will result in network enhancement.
