Timing: Weekdays, 7:00AM to 7:00PM
What is happening?
To support future construction of the Yonge North Subway Extension, crews working on behalf of Metrolinx will be removing trees along Yonge Street, Steeles Avenue East, Nipigon Avenue, Glen Cameron Road, Morgan Avenue, and Clark Avenue. This step is needed to make sure future construction related to Steeles Station can move forward safely and efficiently. Before any work begins, the area will be carefully checked for wildlife and active bird nests, and work will move forward following all required environmental and wildlife protection measures.
