The City of Markham is proceeding with installation of a new silencer and modification of the existing acoustic barrier of the blower house within the German Mills Meadow and Natural Habitat (German Mills Meadow). Construction is expected to commence late August or early September 2023. The anticipated completion date for the work is end of September 2023. The construction schedule may change slightly depending on the silencer procurement schedule and site conditions.
