People looking forward to using the Yonge North Subway Extension one day got a “first look” at what its five new stations could look like and at a storage yard to keep the trains clean and running.
The province’s transit agency, Metrolinx, released the station renderings last week as a first step in getting companies to design and build them.
It will host an in-person open house this Wednesday, Oct. 22, on the surface-level storage yard, which will stretch north of the subway terminus at High Tech Road along the CN rail line almost to 16th Avenue.
The public event, for which no registration is needed, is at the YNSE Community Office, 295 High Tech Rd., from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
