Working Session Notice: Bayview John Community Engagement Visioning Process
What is happening?
The City of Markham invites you to participate in an upcoming series of working sessions to discuss the future of the Bayview Avenue and John Street area.
As directed by the City of Markham’s Development Services Committee, there will be three working sessions, each dedicated to a different topic. You are welcome to join us for one, two or all three of the sessions.
The Working Sessions will be interactive, starting with an overview briefing from city staff followed by a facilitated discussion for the rest of the evening.
Working Session 1: January 13, 2025, 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.
Topic: Urban Design, Built Form, and Land Uses
Location: Thornhill Community Centre, Centre Hall
Working Session 2: January 22, 2025, 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.
Topic: Transportation and Mobility
Location: Thornhill Community Centre, rooms B1/B8, lower level
Working Session 3: February 13, 2025, 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.
Topic: Community Uses
Location: Thornhill Community Centre, rooms B5/B6, lower level
