Update: The application to demolish the single family home and build 10, 3-storey townhomes has been withdrawn on account of the property being sold. There is now a proposal from the new owner to demolish the existing home and build two new on the property.

The city is in receipt of applications from Armstrong Planning and Project Management c/o Cardea Homes to amend the Official Plan and Zoning Bylaw to permit redevelopment of the property known municipally as 3 Steele Valley Drive.

The applicant proposes to facilitate a development of 10 3-storey townhouse dwellings with rooftop terraces. A rear private lane is proposed for access to the townhouse dwellings as well as 4 visitor parking spaces. The proposed site plan, elevation drawings, landscape plan, and renderings are below.

If approved, the proposed development would not be subject to a future Site Plan Control application given the Bill 23 provisions for any development with 10 dwellings or less.
